The story of Wendell “Quick” Newkirk is one of interest and one that many can’t tell. Wendell spent his early years listening to his father’s music.
entering his high school years he found that he really enjoyed the party scene but he wasn’t the best dancer so to make an impression he brought some of his father’s music to the parties which made him welcome there. By 1980 Wendell had formed his own collection of music and got his first gig DJing a party for a family member. Being a big fan of Grand Master Flash Wendell, now known as DJ Quick, began to perfect his DJ skills on the turntables and became an upstart DJ in his area.

       Soon after high school Wendell went on to earn a degree in radio and T.V broadcasting and spent many years being a well known DJ in various areas and a prominent radio personality (WCLN, WOKN) as well. Now DJ Quick is taking his vast years of experience and superior skills mobile!
